Each
course will be backed up by on-line material at Blackboard.com
(course id OCDB). This is a very extensive on-line instructional
technology used by many instructors throughout the U.S. It will allow
us to arrange for references and much of the class backup material to
be available via the internet ahead of the actual class start.
If
you are an instructor and are not using this tool I suggest you have
a look at it.
Due
to recent changes in Blackboard this site is currently being
updated. It will be one site consolidating the previous individual
database course sites. Eventually much of our material will be made
available via this system; some in asynchronous instructor-led
format, some self-study.
