PRJ111XL: Project Libre Basic Training

Tuition: $165.00 per student

Length: 1 day

Synopsis: Teaches the basic functions and features of Project Libre. This is a free, open source project management software package compatible with, although much less feature rich than, Microsoft Project.The emphasis is on using Project Libre to create effective project plans. Students will learn how to create a new project file, create and modify task lists, create a Work Breakdown Structure create a Gantt chart, and work with task relationships. They'll also learn how to create a base calendar, assign resources to tasks, and create task calendars. Students will use filters and groups, and they'll sort task and resource data. Finally, they will learn how to resolve resource conflicts and analyze the critical path. When taken on a private basis, class content can be tailored to your needs. An advanced course is under development.

Formats: Students may arrange a private class on a convenient date or take a scheduled public class at our studio in San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, California.

Scheduling: Private classes can be conveniently scheduled to suit. See calendar for scheduled, public classes. Scheduled classes run from 10:00AM to 3:00PM with a 1 hour lunch break.

Group Discounts: 2-4 students 20%, 5-8 30%, >8 quote

Materials: Printout of PowerPoint Slides, Training Certificate.

 

Location: Classes are taught at our studio in San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, California. On-sites are not offered at this time.
